How political discussions (d)evolve in Russia.
This is the clip I was looking for a few days ago, when I got distracted by Putin’s Q&A. Zhirinovsky on a TV show with a member of the new party, Pravoye Delo.
It goes like this. Shout shout shout smirk shout yell smirk insult yell yell until Zhirinovsky calls his bodyguard and orders him to kick the guy off the set. The goon dutifully walks up, towering over his charge, and then the presenter calls in the TV channel’s bodyguards.
It all gets quite absurd, but the most absurd thing is at the end of the day, the guy is escorted off the stage and Zhirinovsky stands victorious. The goons always win.
